Performance
A one-second delay drops conversion by about 7%. Most sites I inherit sit at 4–6 seconds on mobile. I audit where the time goes — oversized images, dead scripts, no caching, slow fonts — fix it, and put a performance budget in place so it doesn't creep back.
What's included
- A full speed audit with prioritised fixes
- Image, script, font, and caching optimisation
- Core Web Vitals brought into the green
- A performance budget enforced going forward
- Before/after numbers you can actually see
Common questions
- What does a speed project cost?
- Targeted optimisation starts around €100 ex. BTW — fixed in writing; a full audit-and-fix on a larger site is scoped after I measure it. Either way you get the before/after numbers.
- How much faster can my site get?
- It depends where you're starting, but moving a 5-second mobile load under 2 seconds is common. I'll measure first and tell you honestly what's realistic.
- Do I need a rebuild, or just a fix?
- Often just a fix. I only recommend a rebuild when the foundation genuinely can't get fast — and I'll tell you which it is before you spend anything.
